Job Description: We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team and support our growing workforce of 90 employees in Texas and California. The HR Generalist will play a vital role in various aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and other HR functions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientations and ensuring all required paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct investigations and resolve employee complaints or concerns in a fair and timely manner.
- Benefits Administration:
- Benefits will be done through their PEO, but they can assist the candidate with inquiries as needed.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation, including personnel files, time and attendance records, and other HR-related information.
- HR Administration:
- Assist with various HR administrative tasks, including maintaining HRIS records, processing payroll, and preparing reports as needed.
- Support HR initiatives and projects as assigned by the HR Manager or Director.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field desired or a PHR or SPHR certification
- 2-4 years of HR experienceSolid understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
