Transmission Hydraulics Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities of the Transmission Hydraulics Engineer:
- Act as a technical specialist applying advanced concepts, principles, and methods in water transmission hydraulics, operations, modeling, and other broad engineering fields.
- Review project documents for compliance and quality assurance.
- Develop new techniques or improve processes, materials, or products.
- Assist upper-level management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor.
- Supervise a team of engineers, technical specialists, and technicians.
- Review and approve scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
- Prepare proposals for professional services or funding for engineering projects or programs.
- Perform other duties as required.
- 6+ years of engineering experience.
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in a relevant engineering discipline from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
- Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) or Master of Science (M.S.) in a relevant engineering discipline is a plus but not required.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer by the State of Texas, or ability to acquire the license within six months if already licensed in another state.
- Experience in InfoWater modeling.
- Experience in water transmission hydraulic analysis, operations, and modeling.
- Experience supervising a team of engineers, technical specialists, and technicians.
- Valid Texas driver’s license.
- Direct hire.
- Location: Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid role, only on-site Tuesdays, except for meetings).
- Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM.
- Pay: $88,800-$133,200/yr. (Depending on experience).
